i don't think this should happen.. there must be a problem in the rake or engine .. may be a technical snag..
There was no problem, 12029 shatabdi was running fine but halts at shdm for long time
this is happening for the first time ! may be a medical emergency .. i dont know.. ASR shatabdi is considered more premium than KLK shatabdi on this route.. it should not happen.. IR has even adjusted TT to stop VB overtake of this shatabdi in the reverse journey ..
Correct, both ASR Shatabdis have more priority then both Kalka Shatabdis on this route. There must be some operational or medical emergency for sure.
In Winters, i have seen every year between 2010-2015 when i used to daily commute, during Foggy mornings Shan -E-Punjab, ASR Shatabdi and Kalka Shatabdi used to run one after the other with delayed departure from NDLS. ASR Shatabdi was allowed to overtake Shan E Punjab usually at Karnal and Kalka Shatabdi used to trail SEP till UMB.
