Apart from Closure of D-C line( which has long been revoked), ZBTT has to be blamed for the cancellation of this train. Now, I seriously doubt if we could see it's comeback any time soon.
If it is no possible via DC line they should find other routes,
I can suggest a few...

Kiul ddu line is just a sucking route for travellers nothing else I can say more halts will be added in this and many other trains.
Janta express, Lal Quila express, Toofan Express, Upper India express, HWH Amritsar Express...aur pata nahi kaun kaun si train IR ne hamesha ke liye band kar di... yahi wajah hai ki SF category ki trains ka stoppage IR ko in chhote chhote stations par dena pad raha hai...ye sabhi trains daily thi.. aur in sab stations passengers ke liye vardan thi...
