RB allotted a 16 Car VB to SR! With this, SR totally has 4 new VB trains while one being 16 car rake other three VB trains are 8-Car rakes in custody awaiting inauguration.

Let's wait and see, if it's going to used for New Service/ Replacement for existing MS TEN VB (or) MAS CBE VB/ simply a spare rake.

Agree
See, 3 trains back to back towards east. How beneficial it would be if it was operated on 3 different days?

Of course it should be changed!

The Important thing is all trains are packed, it shows the real demand.

More new trains are needed towards the east.

Re# 6134218-54
Never had a doubt on occupancy of trains bound to east or north east, and there is no doubt that more services should be operated towards east / north east, the demand being perennial. Thing is, if the existing services is fairly distributed among different days of a week, it would provide better options and be very much effective is what I feel. Also, it paves way for effective operation in PDY as well.

I second that, More stabling lines and Pfs even pitlines(At least one) should be considered at PDY for better operations. Even today PDY HWH and PDY CAPE are being pulled off empty from PDY to VM for Maintenance. So it's better to have pitlines at PDY which will also pave way for more new essential trains.

I also welcome the move of Upgrading Valavanur [Halt] Station into crossing station in the section of VM-PDY. This shows railway cares about trains running in the mentioned section. So, lets hope for the best.

If space is not there in pondicherry for pitlines then atleast villiyanur must be tried out. I doubt there is more space for extension of station premises for pitlines/stable lines at PDY, given the location within the city. Agree the latter part.
