Several trains were diverted, including the Vasco Da Gama-Tirupati/Hyderabad express (17420/17022), Vasco Da Gama-Hazrat Nizamuddin express (12779), and Hazrat Nizamuddin-Vasco Da Gama express (12780). The Yesvantpur-Vasco Da Gama (17309) and Vasco Da Gama-Yesvantpur (17310) trains were canceled due to the derailment. Senior SWR officials are overseeing the restoration work.
