On Varanasi - Phaphamau - Prayag line, doubling between Janghai Jn. and Ugrasenpur is completed. CRS inspected it and opened the track for double line operation.

Since Mahakumbh is next year and NR got good lecturing from RB due to Prayagraj related project delays, I'm expecting all of their focus will be on this route and Janghai to Phaphamau will probably be completed in a haste, like they did last year with Ayodhya.

Similarly, the 12353 Howrah-Lalkuan Express (departing September 13th), 13167 Kolkata-Agra Cantt Express (departing September 12th), and 13168 Agra Cantt-Kolkata Express (departing September 14th) will also take a different route via Varanasi, Jafrabad, Ayodhya Cantt, and Lucknow. The 12381 Howrah-New Delhi Purva Express (departing on 8th, 11th, 12th, 15th, 18th, 19th, and 22nd September) and the 12382 New Delhi-Howrah Purva Express (departing on 9th, 10th, 13th, 16th, 17th, and 20th September) will both take a different route via Pt. Deen Dayal Upadhyay, Mirzapur, and Prayagraj.
