SV1712 108 blog postsCurrently 12017/18 NDLS DDN Shatabdi is being run by push pull mechanism. Will it's stoppage be reduced at SRE now considering scheduled halt of 35 mins? Just asking if someone can share.
Yes as Saharanpur provides a good chunk of passengers to this train NR has not diverted it via Tapri Bypass like other trains(Janshatabdi,Nanda Devi etc). Also at Saharanpur when LC is done main line is blocked on both 3/4,5 platforms.It will help in reducing delays also.
If 12017/18 is running with puss pull technique then they dont need reversal .. so stoppage timing can reduced to 5 min.
35 mins for reversal !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, 15/20 mins is very efficient
