Pic attached here is of 12670 Chhapra - Chennai Ganga Kaveri Superfast after Varanasi Junction at 02:20 when it was having 13 SL Coaches & 2 GS Coaches on 28 June 2022. (ICF Rake).

Due to slot issue this train frequency can't be increased to daily. Or else can be diverted via JBP Gondia Chandrapur route for shortest route
It's just recently received its LHB rake. I think new coaches will be added later on.
I remember criticising SWR for allotting very less coaches for KK and KSK, but then SWR added coaches to both of the trains in just a few weeks.

Not only today even 40 years ago it was like this only. As I said in a previous vlog I remember getting into a crowded Ganga Kaveri somewhere around summer 1981 in Satna with my father entering the crowded train and clearing our seats by occupiers from Varanasi :(
As per source many long distance train will have only 2 Sleeper coaches

As per this site and charts of 12669/12670 only 2 A C III Tier coaches (B1 & B2) are present where as I have booked tickets for my relatives and got confirmed berths in B5 Coach dated 23rd July from BZA to BSB. Can any body provide some info on the same.

The rake has been standardized now. (After 1 June for sure.).

Yup...didnt get a seat in any other train...even when i tried to book tatkal ticket the page didnt open for at least 5-10 minutes and in that much time every train got house full...so in the end i had to take this train...btw train is good however at least 12-15 or even more trains overtake it between pcoi-et but still it is a good alternative..
Yup...But it was not that bad...Trains in ECR are even slower..🤣
Last but not the least. Off to Delhi. Taking The CR's Prestigious Push-Pull Rajdhani bound to Nizamuddin.
