Arrived at Salem in, almost on time.
Island express left at 12.40. Yeswantpur kannur which reached before island now would have left behind it. Which means, now it is train back to back, eventhough both other are exp, mail will be running behind them
Arriving in pf2. Before time.

Reached well ahead of time. And for the first time, mail overtook ypr can and didn't allow to overtake back till pgt. Seems like ypr can has loco failure after tup. Now running late by 1.5 hr

Got clearance without any issue.
Arriving in pf1.
Of course. From MAS till AJJ, sleeper coach are like General :(. But this time it was comparatively less, since many might have taken off on 26 for getting long weekend. But still sleeper was somewhat like General. In My SLB itself, 3 ppl were sitting other than me.

some loco gave a sweet short horn and passed. Initialy thought it was crossing. Bt i was wrong. It was overtake. Dont knw which train dared to overtake.

Phone got switched off just after updating Erode status. Mangalore mail reached Palakkad at 6.18am. More than 90 minutes late. Since we skips CBE, MAQ mail again OT Alleppey Express. The reason for the stoppage unknown. But thanks to person involved in it. After long time saw Magnificent Tamil Nadu Kerala Border Ghat section. Its simply superb. No words to describe it. Rain, green trees, small small waterfalls, fogs, rain clouds. A perfect place for RF.
