Got a reply today, they are considering of speeding up of both 11097/8 trains.

Dont think they are changing the time. I had raised grievance in the pg portal in the month of June on the avg speed of the train being reduced to 38km/hr & the response fro the CR authorities has been attached. It appears to have been done to give precedence to lot of other trains at the cost of this weekly train. Passengers now travelling to mangalore,udipi etc are highly inconvenienced with this new time as it reaches at odd time.

Ohh is it, this is new to me that 11097/8 via Kyn. Meanwhile raised a grievance with Pg portal to railways(CR), for changing the TT of this train, it's in process.

Train No 11097 running time has been increased by almost 4 hours with an avg speed of 38km/hour !!! . I had raised the same in grievance portal and here is what the response given by CR operating div [image attached]• Precedence given to 17318/17317 LTT Hubli exp• Train is delayed due to crossing of 17412,12779,11098 [not sure whether 11097/11098 cross),11024,11045,51436 [sensitive commuter-!! not sure what this means) & 12629• Also precedence is given to 17411,11005G.My question is why is it that only this train is made to suffer. Is it because it is weekly and hardly has importance ??? Quite a ridiculous...
