VSKP/Visakhapatnam Junction
Extract from the 1961 Southern Railway Timetable, showing the now closed Visakhapatnam Town railway station (Code- VSP). Originally there were two stations in VSKP. The present day VSKP station was originally called Waltair Junction (WAT). About 3 km after WAT, there was another station called 'Vizagapatam'. This served the fishing town of Vizag. By 1944, the Vizagapatam station was renamed to 'Vizagapatnam' and by 1956, it was renamed to Visakhapatnam Town. The station was closed down from April 1964. Till the time the station was closed, there were link trains operating from VSP to WAT....

You are absolutely right even i have onboard earlier when VSKP bound Ratnachal took road cum rail bridge after Kovvur even on 15th of this month it happened..they sent Ratnachal via Road cum rail bridge as 17643 Circar express is just ahead since Circar having stop at Godavari station Ratnachal was sent on to Road cum rail bridge and overtook it at RJY..generally Ratnachal overtakes Circar at KVR Check the screenshots.
