One more pic from the site.Looking at this pic, my speculation is;12864 had already passed BNBR while 12841 was about to pass BNBR. The accident took place at BNBR( KGP end). Now, if 12841 derailed of its own, how come the loco climb the goods train standing on the adjacent track( mind you, WAP 7 is actually a heavy locomotive)?

RTIS data of speed of both derailed trains. Coromandal went from 128kmph to 0 in less than 23 secondsWhereas, 12864 gradually slowed down which shows this train wasn't harmed much.

Always remember that it could be either you or me on any of those trains. I am particularly disturbed as 12841/2 is a train that I have frequented so much since childhood.
