At last a very happy news for delta rail users.Immediately after the day of interlocking works, Thanjavur Trichy double line was opened for use of public. This will save the travelling time by 20 minutes and also the first train to go in this new constructed double line is 16795 Cholan Express (MS - TPJ leg.) Simultaneously all other night trains towards Trichy where operated in the new line as per my friends information. Hope it serves good for delta ...

Some points as per the report,AMRITHA EXPRESS MAY GET A STOPPAGE AT KOLLENGODENo hurdles to give stoppage at kollengode says palghat division.Finally the protest from people and the media reports finding the breakthrough.PGT div has informed RB and SR Chief Operation Manager that they have no hurdles in giving stoppage at klgd. The timings won’t affect since the train has ample slack time in the stretch. The favorite decision from PGT may allow RB to give stoppage at klgd soon.Courtesy: Malayala Manorama daily, PGT edition.
