CHANDIGARH: Though no new trains have been announced in the Union Railway Budget for any place, including the Punjab-Haryana region, doubling of the 172km Rajpura-Bhatinda line...
Great news but...it will take a lot of time in starting of doubling between Rajpura and BTI...still electrification has not started...
Ya for doubling , it should be done by 2019 and electrification to start by August this year. Tendering is going on.
