That's why I was shocked when u said SWR is not good maintenance. In fact UBL is better than many divisions in SR.

Firstly let SWR show what development they are capable in SBC , YPR stations. And let SWR show their capabilities in making at least SBC-MYS line double. Then let them think about MAQ and acquiring KR.

True.....SWR internally has to grow then they can merge KR and other areas

once MAQ goes to SWR, then they will make it another SBC. And similar condition of Hassan -Nelmangala line digging for years saying silly reasons not to finish the projects , fearing some Horsemen in Kunigal, :-)

Since people in AP, TN and Kerala are awake and put pressure on their politicians to make railway better, KA people are sleeping and their politicians are putting pressure on the people. Even bangalore BMTC chief openly announcing on radio (I heard it) that bengaluru metro will eat up BMTC profit so metro should not come... what a joke.
They are not able to connect KA major cities Mangalore and SBC yet, fearing Mallya's horses, and gowda's cows..
