A commendable action by Mr Vidhi Jain....Totally agree... ARP not to exceed 45 days. Presently we can neither plan so much in advance nor get tickets when we plan. The present trend is to block tickets at the drop of a hat and cancel it or date change when the time comes. This last minute cancellation will result in such seats becoming available at a premium rate (I suppose) at the cost of genuine travellers who are denied ticket.

45000 or 50000 signatures won't effect Railway Board's & RM mind. Earlier ARP was less only, but then it got changed to 120 days and now again demanding for change ?
Bit difficult to do because majority people supported 120 ARP at that time, that's why Railways changed ARP to 120.
Now again if ARP gets reduced, then definitely again after 2-3 years , people will again demand for ARP to be increased.

I feel that maximum Advance Booking Period should be 60 days. 120 days is creating difficulty.
