1 paisa, I think world record of cheapest insurance will be issue to IR
There should be an insurance scheme for the passengers belongings too. Yesterday 3 trains were heavily looted at Kanpur outer and the escort party of the these train literally did nothing to stop this loot so there should be a scheme that can provide compensation to the passengers in case their belongings are being theft or looted.
It does cover robbery. The policy covers each passenger under the PNR in case of Death, Permanent Total Disability, Permanent Partial Disability, and Hospitalization Expenses for Injury and Transportation of mortal remains following Rail Accident or untoward incident. Untoward incident include the making of a violent attack or the commission of robbery or dacoity as per the policy document.
