Why IR consider RORO from JNPT to Boisar only?,
Why not carrying trucks to as far destination as possible so that the time lost in the formalities of loading & unloading is more than made up during the long journey on rails.

Longer distance RORO are much more viable than short distance one with a narrow objective of just byepassing Mumbai

Containers from port should be carried to as far a destination, as possible by rails so that the RORO scheme is beneficial to all i.e. IR, truck operator, the nation.
