It's high time that Govt/ officials should note the environmental consequences.
Kerala Govt has been putting pressure on Karnataka Govt to open Bandipur national forest road at night, so that the goods from North kerala can reach the rest of the country faster. As mentioned in the report, even this proposal was stonewalled by Karnataka Govt.
We do need a shorter route form Mysore to Wayanad region of Kerala, but not at the cost of our precious forest and its animals
