विडम्बना की बात तो ये है जिनके सहयोग से उत्तर बिहार में इतनी रेलवे लाइन बिछाई गई थी,उनका हीं छेत्र "दरभंगा और मिथिला" उत्तर बिहार में रेलवे के द्वारा सबसे ज्यादा उपेक्षित छेत्र है।
