Unfortunately, the Indian Railways accounting system is not the best, as it does not follow the corporate accounting system. There is a lot of room left...
We can hope that the accounting reforms being vigorously pursued by Mr. Prabhu, A Chartered Accountant, shall be quickly & properly implemented which will indicate the real financial condition of IR. This in turn is expected to motivate IR to take proper corrective actions and eventually come out of the chronic financial troubles.
Accrual accounting system ko jald se jald IR ko acquire kerna chahiye, Cash based accounting system clear figure nahi de pati Financial state ki.
