* Made up 3 hours on extended monsoon time table where speed is restricted to 90kmph & journey time drastically stretched from 8:30 hrs to 12:15 hrs). So the train actually took 9:14 hrs for 552 kms journey @ 60kmph avg. speed, which is impressive for 90kmph max speed, keeping in view the hilly terrain & single line.
* This indicates that there is a huge slack time in normal timetable of Karmali-CSTM Tejas 552km in 12:15 hrs @ 45kmph.
