There is no use of this line for KA, it will take another decade in environmental clearance itself, just like hubballi ankola.
Karnataka doesnt have any benefit from this project as mentioned in the report. It will only help Kerala. KA govt shouldn't show any interest in this
They are doing same thing. In a recent coastal KA - SWR meeting they stated, SR is not favoring Gomateshwara exp to enter MAQ and many of such treatments for trains coming from Hassan-Sbhr SWR side, even they are not ready for diverting Maq-Kcg bi-weekly exp via Has/Mao, therefore no state cost sharing for this Thalassery/Nilambur project from KA
Good atleast some retaliation from KA side towards step motherly attitude of SR in particular and kerala in general.
