In a recent experiment, Western Railway deployed an all-women TTE (travelling ticket examiners) staff on the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Shatabdi Express and saw earnings register a 66% jump...
Smart move by senior divisional railway commissioner Aarti Singh Parihar to harness the potential of women TTEs by changing their posting from suburban trains to Shatabdi Express.
In general girls/women are more sincere than boys /men, increase of Rs 50000 over Rs 30000(i.e. 166% increase) in fine collection from day 1 is great achievement!!

My co passenger booked from Kovilpatti to Chennai Egmore with entry at Madurai.
Since he alters his his personal works and ask his friend to meet at Madurai.
He also buy a open SF ticket from Kovilpatti to Madurai and entered in to his original Sleeper class coach .Even though he paid twice fares from Kovilpatti...
