Even though SWR is famous for running freights in and around all the time, which are bound to derail. Number of accidents reduced at greater extent and won national award. A well managed zone we can say.
If you count lines/sections and no of services on them under SWR then award is sure brother. But then too With Braganza ghtas shiradi ghats and more heavy frieghts all around day night in SWR they managed well atleast for freights i can say. Next time hope it win best Passenger serivces award too..
