The tunnel, spanning 1480 meters between the Moin Ul Haq Stadium station and the University station, was completed in 10 months, starting in July 2023 and ending on May 14, 2024. The construction faced challenges due to the densely populated area, including approximately 900 buildings and 100 bore wells. The project is being overseen by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) with Advisor (Special Works) Daljeet Singh conducting regular inspections to ensure timely completion and adherence to safety protocols.
