Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw met with BJP National Secretary and newly elected MLA, Pankaja Munde, in Mumbai to discuss railway issues in Parali and Beed districts. Vaishnaw assured Munde that he would address these long-pending issues in Parali and Beed. The meeting also saw Munde extend birthday wishes to Vaishnaw. Meanwhile, there's talk of a potential third front in Maharashtra politics, with the Republican parties uniting. This could pose a challenge to both the ruling Maha Vikas Aghadi and the opposition Maha Yuti. The MNS has criticized the state government for its focus on the 'Ladki Bahin' and 'Ladka Bhai' schemes, urging them to address the issue of delayed RTE admissions. There is also speculation that senior BJP leader Madhukar Pichad and his son Vaibhav may return to the Nationalist Congress Party, but Vaibhav denied these claims.
