Significant infrastructure upgrades have been made, including a 1.4-fold increase in new line construction and a surge in electrification rates. 59 railway stations in Karnataka are set to be redeveloped under the Amrit Bharat Station Scheme, with major upgrades planned for Yesvantpur and Bengaluru Cantonment stations, expected to be completed by July 2025 and October 2025 respectively. Amrit Bharat Station Scheme ke under Karnataka ke 59 railway stations ko redevelop kiya ja raha hai, jismein Yesvantpur aur Bengaluru Cantonment stations pe major upgrades ki ja rahi hain, jinka completion July 2025 aur October 2025 tak hone ki ummeed hai. SWR ka target March 2025 tak 100% route electrification achieve karne ka hai.
