Short-distance Vande Bharat trains are being operated, while long-distance Vande Bharat Sleeper trains are expected to be launched this year. Under the Amrit Bharat scheme, 157 stations in Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand are being developed, with most of the work completed. The video conference included the General Managers of North Eastern Railway (Gorakhpur), Northern Railway (Delhi), and Divisional Railway Managers of Moradabad and Izzatnagar.
