The budget also includes significant funding for disaster prevention, the development of the Outer Ring Road (ORR), the Multi-Modal Transport System (MMTS), the Musi riverfront development project, and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). The ORR will be upgraded to a national highway, and the Regional Ring Road (RRR) is under construction. The Musi riverfront project is modeled after London's Thames riverfront and will receive Rs 1500 crore. The GHMC and HMDA will receive Rs 3065 crore and Rs 500 crore respectively, while the metro water works department is allocated Rs 3385 crore.
