They have now submitted a memorandum to the District Collector, threatening to burn an effigy of the Chief Minister during the Independence Day celebrations in Anupgarh if their grievances are not addressed. The villagers are specifically demanding the construction of borewells and chambers for water drainage, the immediate clearance of water from the underbridge, the construction of a shade for the bridge, and the installation of a barrier to prevent the passage of overloaded trucks and trolleys.
