We straight up correct, bro! Basically, they're saying that if the main train routes are already packed, it's pointless to run a train that's only half full when they could be running a full train instead. VB is basically taking the place of a train that could've had more peeps on it.

We really didn't have to make a whole new category just for VB trainsets. They should have just upgraded the existing Shatabdis to VB. If there was demand, they could've started a new Shatabdi with VB trainset. What we really need right now is putting kavach on all IR trains and switching all the ICF trains to LHB, not creating a new premium train category.

Bilkul bhi dedicated category for VB trainsets ki zarurat nahi thi. Jitne Shatabdi trains the, unhe VB mein upgrade kar dena chahiye tha aur agar demand thi toh ek naya Shatabdi VB trainset ke sath chalu kiya ja sakta tha. Yahan par jo zarurat hai woh hai IR mein kavach ka lagana aur saare existing ICF trains ko LHB mein convert karna, nahi toh ek naya premium train ka category banane ki.

Even in busy routes like KR's Mumbai Madgaon where there's already a Jan Shatabdi and Tejas, they introduced a new Vande Bharat Express. But when it came to converting overcrowded trains like Vasco Patna SF to daily service, all zones, including KR, rejected the proposal due to slot sharing problems. They couldn't adjust the slots for that, but surprisingly, for the Vande Bharat Express, they are willing to delay many regular trains without any problems.

Even in single line highly saturated routes like KR's Mumbai Madgaon where already a Jan Shatabdi and Tejas exist they gave a VB.
But proposal for daily conversion of overcrowded train like Vasco Patna SF put down by all zones including KR citing slot sharing issues. Here they could not adjust slot but for VB they are ready to delay n number of non premium trains.
