train runs from Sahibabad to Modinagar North, and this extension to Meerut South adds an 8 kilometer stretch. This new section will provide relief to commuters and Meerut South will be the first station in Meerut city, followed by Shaheedpur, Begampur and Modipur stations. The 82 km Delhi-Meerut corridor aims to be operational by 2025. The fare from Sahibabad to Meerut South is ₹110 for standard coaches and ₹220 for premium coaches. The Meerut South station has 3 platforms, 2 for Namo Bharat trains and 1 for Meerut Metro. It also offers parking for 300 cars and 900 two-wheelers with a fee structure for different durations. The extension will facilitate travel between Meerut and Ghaziabad, easing traffic congestion in the region.

की जरूरत को देखते हुए इसे फिलहाल शुरू किया जा रहा है। वर्तमान में नमो भारत ट्रेन साहिबाबाद से मोदीनगर नॉर्थ तक चल रही है। अब यह ट्रेन एक स्टेशन आगे, यानी मेरठ साउथ तक जाएगी। यह आठ किलोमीटर का नया खंड यात्रियों को बड़ी राहत प्रदान करेगा। मेरठ साउथ स्टेशन मेरठ शहर का पहला स्टेशन होगा। इसके बाद शताब्दीपुरम, बेगमपुल और मोदीपुरम स्टेशन भी तैयार होंगे। दिल्ली से मेरठ तक 82 किलोमीटर के कॉरिडोर को 2025 तक खोलने का लक्ष्य है। साहिबाबाद से मेरठ साउथ तक किराया स्टैंडर्ड कोच के लिए ₹110 और प्रीमियम कोच के लिए ₹220 है। मेरठ साउथ स्टेशन में 3 प्लेटफॉर्म हैं, 2 नमो भारत ट्रेन के लिए और 1 मेरठ मेट्रो के लिए। यहां 300 कारें और 900 दुपहिया वाहन पार्क करने की व्यवस्था है, जिसके लिए अलग-अलग समय अवधि के लिए शुल्क निर्धारित किया गया है। इस नए खंड के साथ, मेरठ और गाजियाबाद के बीच यात्रा और भी आसान और सुविधाजनक हो जाएगी। नमो भारत ट्रेन के इस विस्तार से क्षेत्र के यातायात को सुगम बनाने में मदद मिलेगी।
