CANCELLATION OF DEMU TRAIN SERVICES
The Diesel Electric Multiple Unit(DEMU) services, between Ernakulam Jn and Cochin Harbour Terminus (Train Nos.06303/06306 & 06035/06036) stand cancelled from 08.10.2018 due to poor patronage. Due to ongoing track maintenance works in the division, it is not feasible to extend the DEMU services beyond Ernakulam Jn.
Electrification of the Cochin Harbour Terminus –Ernakulam Jn section will be pursued in consultation with the Ministry of Defense.
The Diesel Electric Multiple Unit(DEMU) services, between Ernakulam Jn and Cochin Harbour Terminus (Train Nos.06303/06306 & 06035/06036) stand cancelled from 08.10.2018 due to poor patronage. 14 year long wait comes to an end..First service had strated after 14 years of long gap from Cochin Harbour Terminus to Ernakulam Junction on an experimental basis for one month.
