operated by MSR for the Forestry Department Goods And Passenger Service

2🚃Tadasa-Hebbe NG Tramway
A Goods Only Branch Added To The 1St line on Feb 1921 Operated For Forrest Traffic Only. It had a Connection to the 1st Line
Operational Till 1st Jan 1949

3🚃Shimoga-Kumsi Mine NG Tramway
Operated to Transport Iron Ore From Kumsi Mines to Shimoga Further Connecting Meter Guage Line From Shimoga to Bhadravati Iron And Steel Plant
Became Operational in 1907
Now Defunct
4🚃Maganese Mines Branch of the Shimoga-Kumsi Mine NG Tramway
A branch of 3rd Line
The tramway was to move manganese ore from the mines to the (SMR) MG Shimoga where it was transhipped and conveyed via Londa junction and the West of India Portuguese Railway(WIPR) to Mormugoa (Madgoan)harbour for export to UK
Now Defunct
5🚃Bhadravati-Agasanahadlu NG Tramway
Operated To Serve the Forest Department Later To Carry Black Clay Then Quartz for the Bhadravati Iron and Steel Plant
It had a Connection To The 1st line At Tadesa
Opened in Apr 1922
Now Defunct
6🚃Bhadravati-Tanigebail NG Tramway
Constructed as a Second line To carry iron ore to the Bhadravati Iron and Steel Plant From Tanigebail. The tramway crossed the MSR 1st line at Rangenahalli but a transfer between lines was not built
Opened in 1923-24
Now Defunct
7🚃Bhadravati-Kemmangundi NG Tramway
A 2 mile long Aerial Ropeway From Kemmangundi to Tanigebail Connecting the 6th Line
Now Defunct
8🚃Bhadravati-Antargang-Bhadigund NG Tramway
Operated To Bhadigund Limestone Quarries. From Bhadravati the tramway ran cross the River Bahdra on the same bridge as the MSR metre gauge(MG) line and the rails were laid between the existing track giving 4 rails across the bridge
Operational Since 1938-39
Now Extinct
9🚃Agasanahadlu-Kemmangundi NG Tramway
A 24.5 Mile Tramway Fully operational by 1 Apr 1923 but only On Records. Nowhere to be Found in the map. Seems Incorrect
Or We May get The hint as the Recorded Operational Date Suggests
10🚃Bhadravati-Joldhal NG Tramway
Completed on 1923-24 only on Records
No further information has been found – this line does not appear on the Map

All The Tramway NarrowGuage Lines Went Extinct and Defunct After The Independence Now None Exist The MeterGuage Line b/w Birur and Talguppa Is Now A BroadGuage Line
The Line 1 and 2 went Extinct And Submerged Into The BackWaters Of The Bhadra Reservoir After it's Contruction was Completed The NG Line Tracks Lies Under It
The Line 3,4,5,6,7 And 8 Went Defunct Some Due to Ore,Mine Issues And Some Due to Environmental Issues
