At last a very happy news for delta rail users.
Immediately after the day of interlocking works, Thanjavur Trichy double line was opened for use of public. This will save the travelling time by 20 minutes and also the first train to go in this new constructed double line is 16795 Cholan Express (MS - TPJ leg.) Simultaneously all other night trains towards Trichy where operated in the new line as per my friends information. Hope it serves good for delta
