All MEMU train services between Jasidih and Baidyanathdham have been temporarily cancelled for four months from October 24th. Train operations on the Baidyanathdham-Jasidih rail line will be completely closed for four months.

This decision has been taken to facilitate the construction of the Jasidih bypass line and the proposed Rail Under Rail (RUR) bridge at the point where this bypass line and the Jasidih-Baidyanath rail line intersect.

Currently, two Low Height Subways (LHS) are under construction along with the Jasidih bypass, near Puranadha and Baidyanathdham station in Deoghar. One is being built near pole number 5 in Puranadha and the other near pole number 6 at Baidyanathdham station. Once these two LHS are completed, the respective railway gates will be permanently closed.

Meanwhile, the 03562 and 03678 Baidyanathdham-Asansol MEMU Special trains will be operated from Jasidih instead of Baidyanathdham station. However, to facilitate passengers, the railways have introduced six new passenger special trains between Jasidih and Deoghar station starting October 24th. These trains will run at regular intervals between Jasidih and Deoghar, ensuring no inconvenience to passengers.

The Jasidih-Deoghar passenger special train will depart Jasidih station at 03:35, 08:45, 12:30, 14:40, 17:45 and 22:50, arriving in Deoghar at 03:50, 09:05, 12:45, 15:00, 18:00 and 23:05. The Deoghar-Jasidih passenger special will depart Deoghar at 04:00, 09:30, 12:55, 15:50, 18:25 and 23:30, arriving in Jasidih at 04:20, 09:50, 13:10, 16:05, 18:45 and 23:45 respectively.

Previously, there were three lines at Baidyanathdham station, but over time, two of them were closed. Now there are plans to restore these three lines and improve the tracks. Along with this, there are also plans to extend the platform. Once the railway crossing is closed and the rail underpass is constructed, the path for the platform extension will be clear. This will enable the operation of 24-bogie trains from this station instead of the long-awaited 12-bogie trains. There are also plans to construct a third platform.

It is necessary and logical to propose a direct train service from Rampurhat to Delhi. Such connectivity should be established for the benefit of the local residents and passengers, especially when places like Radhapur, Godda and Madhupur already have direct connections to Delhi. Since there are train services from Jasidih even to distant destinations like Goa, the absence of a train service from an important town like Rampurhat to Delhi indicates a form of neglect. This is not just about passenger convenience; it is crucial for the socio-economic progress of the region.

Rampurhat se Delhi direct train service chaloo karne ka proposal dena chahiye aur yeh poori tarah se yuktisangat aur prayojanee hai. Elakavasi aur yatrio ke suvidharth yeh dharane ka sangjog chaloo karna chahiye, vishesh karke jab Radhikapur, Godda aur Madhupur jaise sthanon ne pehle hi Delhi ke saath direct sangjog sthapit kar liya hai. Jehitu Jasidih se aise hi Gova jaise durvurti gantavyo ke train service chaloo hai, Rampurhat jaise ek guruttvopoorne shahar se Delhi ki train service na hona ek dharane ki avahelana ka ingit deta hai. Yeh shudh yatrio ki suvidha nahin, is anchal ke arth-samajik unnati ke liye bhi atyant guruttvopoorne hai.
