This morning at 4.45 hrs between Kantadih andTamna Station of Chandil -Purulia Section of SouthEastern Railway’s Adra Division a loaded truckbreaking the locked gate boom of a level crossinggate and collided with a good trains resulting toderailment of Engine and 11 wagons blocking Upand Down lines of this section, effecting the normaltrain services.No long distance Mail/Express trains have beencancelled. Those long distance trains which weresupposed to run via Purulia – Chandil route arebeing diverted via alternate route i.e. Purulia-Kotsila- Muri- Chandil.However some short distance Intercity Expresstrains have been cancelled along with somepassenger trains.
