Located about 10 kms from Trichy, this place also known as Bikshandavapuram is famous for the temple of Perumal/Lord Vishnu where the main deity as generally seen along the river Kaveri is in reclining posistionThis temple is famous for having all the three deities or the Trimoorty i.e Lord Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwara in the vicinity along with their consorts with seperate sannidhis along with another to Jai Hanuman. Legend says that Lord Brahma had 5 heads earlier and Lord Shiva had plucked one head out of anger owing to which he got the Brahma Dosha (Sin of hurting Lord Brahma)...
