Train Cautiously passing through Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary. 19306 Kamakhaya - Dr. Ambedkar Nagar weekly Express led by SGUJ WDP4 20064.

The Kamakhya bound Capital Express gradually begins to accelerate out of the Chapramari Wildlife Sanctuary after clearing a permanent speed restriction of 30 kmph imposed due to Elephant Corridor. Loco doing the honors is a customary WDP 4D from Siliguri (SGUJ).

Chapramari Railway Track & Wild life.click hereThis little film by Mr. Jasoprakas Debdas shows the beautiful wildlife in close proximity of railway line.A preening peacock in front of a WDP4.A majestic elephant standing over the track.Also see the video for the elephant which lifts the railway gate and crosses.Don't know why the railway personnel, in the starting of the video, bursts a cracker on the track. At first I thought he was tying a detonator.
