And here comes final leg of Bishnupur Tarakeswar Branch line. The most awaited railway line of West Bengal. ER published tender for Earth work in filling for construction of railway embankment, blanketing over formation, turfing, construction of Retaining wall, Major/Minor bridges, RUBs, drain, approach road etc.from Ch.- 26000 to Ch.- 27370 m and Ch.- 28485 to Ch.- 42620 m (from Bishnupur)including Baragopinathpur (Ch.- 30780, Jayrambati (Ch.- 37820) and Kamarpukur station(Ch.- 43070), platform, PF shed, FOB, piling, LC gate, height gauge, station building andother ancillary works between Maynapur (Ch.- 23200) to Goghat (Ch.- 48570) with Linkingof P.Way track and other ancillary p.way...

Upcoming Kamarpukur station of proposed Tarakeswar-Vishnupur railway line...the construction of which is stopped because of a pond.
