Shanichara Temple is located near Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh. It is said about it that here is the body of the supernatural Shani Dev, thrown from Lanka by Hanumanji. A fair is held here on the day of Shanichari Amavasya. Devotees offer oil here and leave all the clothes, slippers, shoes etc. worn here and go home. Huge queues for GEN will be there at Pune and it starts to form during the afternoon itself. Getting a seat in GEN coach is next to impossible if you do not stand in queue at least 5 hours before departure.
Even sleeper coaches are fully packed and it will be very difficult to sleep on your seat if that is a LB or SLB. Washrooms are dirty and stinks badly except for AC classes.
Only good thing about this train is it's speed and punctuality. Less stops during the day time and

good amount of railfanning is possible.
RPF is available in the train but I suggest to take care of your belongings since the train runs heavily crowded.
Pantry food is just OK it's better to order food from the outside.
On ticket availability, good luck getting a ticket in any class since it always runs packed throughout the year.

For passengers bound to Tumkur and surrounding areas, its better to get down at Gauribidanur as there is a direct bus from Gauribidanur to Tumkur at 5am via Koratagere (Total travel time is 2 hours). This is a private bus service (quite prompt in maintaining timings) and government bus service starts by 7am. Bus stand at Gauribidanur is in walkable distance from railway station (around 1.5 kms). Autos are available at station entrance.
Also buses bound to Tumkur, pass by LC gate located next to railway station where in they stop for passengers to board.

trains termination at Nashik Road or some may be extend to Manmad. The services operate from Panvel to Nashik Road with main halt at Kalyan and if required at Kasara/Igatpuri/Devlali. The third route is Pune to Nashik. This will have major halts at Shivajinagar, Chinchwad/Talegaon, Lonavala and Kalyan (the trains will be reversed here). Some services can halt at minor halts like Karjat, Neral, Kasara or Igatpuri. Some of these services might terminate at Manmad if demanded for Pune - Manmad connection. These trains can operate untill Pune - Nashik Road high speed project is fully completed. These trains will share their rakes with each other & primary maintainance can be done at Pune or Wadi Bunder. 8 coach trains with multiple services between the three cities will grow business in this triangle. Useing these trains we can complete Mumbai - Pune/Nashik in 2 hrs 30 min while Pune - Nashik road can be completed in 4 hrs while it take around 20 to 30 min from Nashik Road to Nashik main depending on traffic making it around 4 hrs 30 min which is less than 5 hrs to 5 hrs 30 min taken by road today depending on traffic. More over trains provide comfortable journey compared to road.
