For pilgrims from Andhra/Telangana, Shivamogga presents a starting point to start their complete coastal Karnataka pilgrimage. Starting with Sringeri-Horanadu-Dharmastala-Kukke Subramanya-Udupi-Kateelu-Kolluru Mookambika-Murdeshwara-Gokarna and then back to Talaguppa for their return journey.
