As soon as PF 4 and PF5 works get completed at MAQ, Mangaluru Jn-Vijayapura Express Special train will be extended till Mangaluru Central. You can get updates in twitter regarding Mangaluru Central. Follow "Dakshina Kannada Railway Users" (@dkdistrictrail) for getting updates.

The train can have an early arrival,If SR allows using its rake.If we go by SWR's first tt for this train,It was supposed to arrive Mangaluru by 6 AM.If SR provides an RSA such that the incoming BJP MAQ express can go as MAQ MS and vice versa.It will be a win win for all
This train cannot be made to arrive at MAJN/MAQ by 6AM as there is no slot in Subrahmanya-Sakleshpur ghat section. There are back to back trains which run between Coastal Karnataka and Bengaluru. So, the train can only be made to arrive at MAQ/MAJN at or after 10AM. Ghat section should be developed such that 2 trains can be made to run back to back within 30/60 minutes.
