I assume, most of the folks inside the train near the door and some of the folks trying to board with UR tickets - created a horror kind of situation.
Upon checking UR coaches ahead, it was cool and easy to find seats without any hussle.

I would be visiting this weekend, and since I do not have confirmed train tickets, booking RR would not be possible. However, if the facility is good then I can book one confirmed ticket and reserve.

If you book a ticket for a large city and there are 3-4 stations where trains are terminating/origanting and there are facility of retiring room then you can book retiring room in one of the stations of that city.
Like I have booked ticket for Kolkata (KOAA) station and when I searched for retiring room booking online there are KOAA, HWH, SDAH stations are present for retiring room to book.
So, in your case book ticket in any Hyderabad city station you can able to book retiring room in HYD, SC, KCG.

RR facility is available at both SC & HYB. Availability can't be confirmed also available are dormitory facilities.
