There use to be 7 AM train from MAS in late 1860's, which got extended as more cities get connected to become 12 Madras Bombay/Dadar Express. Its DEP later shifted to 9:45 am & attached Pic shows 7 AM slot remain vacant way back in 1955 &1961 but not in 1982!!
In 1970 MAS-TPTY got connected with 7:15 AM Exp Train, called 57 Sapthagiri Exp!!

These trains are gonna get screwed by the EMUs for sure.. And donno why they gave Ambattur as a halt when the platforms itself cannot accomodate more than 12 coaches.

The livery may not be suitable for P7. Its a trademark livery of AJJ locos. LHB coaches can use that livery.
