In SWR press release also i didnt find information about this..Anyone have info about this then please share it..And even yesterday Golgumbaz express(SUR-MYS) arrived Bagalkot jn at 9pm where as its scheduled arrival at near 18.43

Lets hope that they will complete doubling upto harihar as commited by march. Do you know when they are targeting harihar to hubli. Because it is very lengthy line ?
Sorry i dont know much about that section works but now they are targeting upto Harihar from Tolahunse which is 23km by Jan 2019 but rest of stretch from Harihar-hubli is not in this years target list may be it will be taken in next years targets list.
Thanks for lot of answers for my questions. I was just curious about doubling and electrification. Since in bangalore i see all chennai and howrah bound trains are fully electric, I am always dreaming when i will be able to travel to bijapur with fully electric loco within 12 hours.

Ha ha Okay so you want to travel in Electric from Bengaluru to Bijapur within 12hours? Hope your dream come true one fine day. But still we didnt see any Electrification signs after Chikkabanavar towards hubli. They should start it now as upto Tumkuru already they have double track but i think they waiting for complete double track upto Harihar as still Tumkuru-kardi is not compelted

I didn't got "Track laying machines or Ballast trains are railway related work, not passenger carrying trains" What does this mean in your above message I am confused 😕❓
The old rails are laid in places where new lines are being constructed or 2nd line is being laid - and that is used for track laying machines (to lay new rails) and ballast trains. Trains which bring ballast to the construction place (/blog/post/2251173 - Pic 2).
Yes this is right that they laying old rails in place of 2nd line construction on which track laying machine run and replace it with new rail. I said about new rails thrown beside already laid single line which I saw in pics.. So their was CTR sanctioned for some sections between Gadag Hotgi so due to that they might be going for track renewal of already GCed single line. Also now a days freight traffic is increasing in this section which might be sensed them to renew them..
I don't know entire section but approximately 100 kmph I guess. At some stretch trains crossed 100 to find up to 105kmph..between Gadag to Bijapur. I heard from Bijapur to solapur they better speeds..

Ok rotate and update that pic, but instead of SB, click the box which say "Platform Pic" - then it will be approved.
Hhm but how I can do those all as I uploaded pics already and when I click on them they coming correctly na.. I didn't uploaded more pics before in IRI so don't know the process exactly
