May be there was a need to accomodate addtional rakes from either UBL/YPR to Gorakhpur.. But its just a guess. M not sure
may be rake transfer or may be a future train from SWR to NER. hope for the best
wrong information....there is no rake reversal at lko...please uodate admin....rake reversal takes place only at ljn, not lko

If any train comes at LJN the reversal is necessary.
When any train comes from GKP side at LKO no reversal takes place see all the train who comes from GKP side.
In case of change of traction LKO is valid point for such trains.
