according IR fare table the howrah haldia used to cost Rs 21/- till 31st dec`12. But from 22nd january 2013 it will cost Rs 30/-. ----a staggering increase of 48% hike over its old fare.

Thanks for refreshing our memories.I was missing Mukoool for some time now.
In fact for a moment I got the shivers thinking Mukul is back as MOR :)
He his history now. His tenure should be forgotten as a bad dream.

new fare for hwh-hlz emu will be Rs 24/- from present Rs 21/-.
since the railway fares will be in the multiples of 5 effective from 21st january the new fare will be Rs 25/-.
it is the most horrible gallopin EMU in ser division. It always departs 10-15 mins late. Even though it has 5 halts only but it halts in its route over 20 times all in between the stations bcoz it is not allowed to overtake the kolaghat local and panskura local(both having 19 halts)which just departs the howrah station within 10 mins of HLZ EMU departure. Thus as a result it never reaches haldia in time sometimes even 45mins to 1 hr late.
