Grievance Description : 22183/22184/22185/22186 Indore Bhopal AC DD exp are two sets of trains introduced in late 2013 to run as intercity exp between INDB BPL/HBJ. Even since their launch, it has received very poor patronage. Started with 11 coached (1500+ capacity), it was recently reduced to a puny rake of 2 coaches + 1 EoG car. For last few days, passenger count was 33, 14 and 31 (on 9th, 10th and 11th Feb respectively) It never crossed a passenger count of 100 on any given run in any direction UP or DN. There may be many other routes / sectors which may warrant plying of such high capacity highly priced train service, but due to various reasons the Zone is still continuing to burn taxpayers' money in running the same. One of these reasons may be political pressure or ensuring that the train runs a prestige issue, but that conception is far off from the ground reality, which clearly shows that the Railways is bleeding through its nose. Request the authorities to immediately withdraw the said services and deploy the same elsewhere where patronage may be ensured.

Details : Probable alternate profit making routes for running double decker is being explored. In this regard a letter has been sent to all Zonal Railways and reply is awaited
