What will they do with these AC double decker coaches. They are still within their codal life. Even CR is replacing its Madgaon double deckers with normal ones.

There was news earlier of replacing Double Decker AC Express. At the moment its saved from getting replaced but now IRCTC Tejas express operates are RED FLAGGING Vande Bharat express since its occupancy is not great and Vande Bharat will spoil it as its timings both ways are hardly behind each other.

Tejas and Shatabdi should start from MMCT in the morning as not much of a fare difference and same facilities between both the trains they can also reduce CC coaches in Shatabdi to accommodate Tejas (which I don’t feel there is any need to reduce CC coaches). Also, Karnavati & Double-Decker not to be separated as per passenger demand.
